Some of the common joints in use are as follows:

Sleeve adhesive joint, butt and wrap joint, bell-and-spigot joint with gluing, flanged joint and bell-and-spigot joint with o-ring. The former three types of jointing are fit for fixed jointing between pepes, while the bell-and-spigot joint with o-ring is often used for underground pipes jointing. The type of butt and wrap joint is suitable for the connection of ellows with large diameters. The type of bell-and-spigot joint with gluing cannot be used for joining pipes with chemical-resistance inner liners. Connections to pumps that involves vibration should include flexible connections to remove the strain on pipe and fittings.

Frp pipe fittings include elbows, tees, flang, Y-joints, reducers, etc.
